The creation of the Horizon Academy online learning platform was a meticulous endeavor marked by strategic planning and thoughtful execution. To ensure a seamless user experience and a robust information architecture, we meticulously designed a high-fidelity user interface, complemented by prototyping for animation. Seeking to showcase the intellectual depth of “Fiqh with Evidence,” we endeavored to create a platform that mirrors the app’s commitment to excellence in Islamic education. Our goal was clear – to establish the app as a beacon in the field of Islamic jurisprudence, presenting a seamless experience for users seeking profound knowledge.
We started to code with React Native, after the finalization of the UI design and the prototyping discussed for Fiqh with Evidence’s CEO and their stakeholders. We generated a timeline and milestones to keep them updated with the progress, starting with the front-end development. Our pursuit was to transform the learning landscape by infusing a modern, clean, and engaging aesthetic that resonates with users.
The development journey involved employing best practices, opting for a custom framework tailored to the unique needs of a comprehensive course platform. Innovative features were woven into the fabric of the app, such as assessment functionality on every course to test your knowledge against your learning, ensuring a user-friendly and visually appealing experience. Furthermore, an admin dashboard was seamlessly integrated to allow admins the ability to add more content regarding their courses.
